How it works There are 4 phases to Six Packs Shorts:

Phase 1 will also show you how to prepare seven healthy meals at the start of each week, and then eating one of these meals every day of that week.

Phase 2 focuses mainly on losing total body fat, most of which will be in the abdominal area, the whole idea being to define your abs later on. The cardiovascular exercises you do in this phase are more intense, and are designed specifically to build functional strength, and speed up fat loss. Your rest times during weight training will be decreased - much like aerobic exercises, which help to burn more fat and calories. Phase 2 will also have you eating three pre-prepared healthy meals every day.

The whole aim of Phase 2 is to keep your strength and muscle mass, while at the same time, getting rid of unwanted fat.

Then we get to Phase 3 which, because it focuses on building your abs, will have you doing workouts that are very much more intense than Phases 1 and 2 but, if you carried out the exercises in Phases 1 and 2 correctly, then your body will be ready to take on the more intense, extremely strenuous exercises. You will be doing heavy, compound weight training exercises - where you will be using the muscles in your whole body, as well as dead lifts, squats, military presses, power cleans, and plenty of other heavy compound lifts that are also used in this phase.

The aim in Phase 3 concentrates on shocking your muscles into growing further. In addition to this, the exercises build a very strong core, as well as mass on your abdominal muscles. The exercises you do in this phase will help tremendously when you get to Phase 4, where the main focus is placed on getting rid of those last few pounds of fat, which will make your abs visible.

Phase 4 is the phase where the last few pounds of fat are shed, and your six-pack starts showing. You will start eating five pre-prepared healthy meals every day, and you will also learn about advance strategies to lose fat. Phase 4 is also called the maintenance phase, simply because, in order to keep your defined abs, you will have to repeat this phase permanently.

You have ten different workouts to do in this phase, to make sure that your workouts are never boring, especially since you will be doing them on an ongoing basis, to keep your body in peak condition. Phase 4 focuses mainly on maintaining your body muscle mass, as well as enhancing the overall appearance of your physique.
